Welcome Message
Sirs,

The Udupi Madhwa Brahmana Sabha (Kerala) celebrates its Silver Jubilee Year in 2003. This organisation has gained its historical importance within the span of these 25 years in and outside Kerala. Having more than 14 affiliated units and their two lakh and odd membership, this movement has already drawn an amazing and colorful scenario in the service of its community. The diversified activities of this movement include, educational scholarships to children of economically backward members, pension to disabled widows, economic grants to poor, disabled and needy for treatment in hospitals, etc.

The organisation is committed to streamline and implement the following exclusive development programmes during the Silver Jubilee Year.

  1. A Central Office building and temple complex.
  2. "Veda Vidya Peetom" to impart studies in Vedas, Upanishads, Jyothisha, Pourohitya, Thanthric Studies, Sanskrit and modern educational system.
  3. A museum and library to preserve and protect the heritage of India.
  4. High School and Higher Secondary Educational Institutions exclusively to impart studies in Science and Technology.
  5. A Community Hall and Old Age Home.
  6. Small Scale Industrial Units exclusively for women.
  7. Self-held Societies for women.
With an anticipated estimated expenditure of approx: 2 crore rupees for implementation of these projects, the fund collection campaign was inaugurated by H.H. Shri Viswesa Theertha Swamiji of Udupi Pejawar Mutt at the Udupi Sree Krishna Temple, Thondankulangara, Alapuzha on 15-4-2002. On this auspicious occasion, Poojya Swamiji wholeheartedly extended his support to this new venture and promised his full co-operation and help in its implementation. He also appealed all devotees and well-wishers to tender their whole-hearted participation and help in its success.

I am happy to share my feelings with you that I have experienced overwhelming enthusiasm and support in our new attempt within a short period after the inauguration of the fund collection by our Poojya Swamiji. Since we have to travel a long distance before we reach the goal, I would humbly and earnestly request you to kindly extend your valuable support by way of your liberal donation to the Project Fund, and oblige.

Yours Sincerely
